Ep. 192

"Thanks for the Memory"
(A Tribute to Robert Osborne)

Ryan and Jason pay tribute to a fallen lover of Ladies: THE lover of Ladies, to be clear. The man who would not only become the unarguable face and voice of classic film in Hollywood through his synonymous association with Turner Classic Movies, but who also made a career out of appreciating, paying tribute to, and being a loyal and caring friend to INNUMERABLE Ladies of the past and today, long after the rest of the world had moved on. A man whose loving presence and reassuring devotion gave us some of the most incredible LadyWatching of all time, and whose fierce mission to educate the world on the subject of his industry's past became the best crash course in film studies that basic cable could buy for any of us. The man of a thousand Ladies, Rambling Reporter and Mr. TCM himself, Robert Osborne.
